Kid Sangria

Kid Sangria is simple drink that your little ones can put together. My kiddo prepared it for fathers day:) Mix the juices and add in the chopped fruits..voila a delicious drink is ready:)

Few days before Father's day, we were in the library. While I was browsing through some International cuisine cook books, my 9 year old came and picked a kid's cookbook by Laurie Goldrich Wolf. He said that he would like to prepare something for his dad all by himself with out much help from me. So, he put together a list of items needed and we went grocery shopping. On Father's day, he put together this drink perfectly and we all enjoyed it a lot:) I was so proud of him:)

INGREDIENTS:
Note: All measurements are based on the US measuring cup and spoon sizes where 1 cup = 235 ml
  • Orange Juice : 3 cups
  • White grape juice: 1 cup
  • Pineapple juice : 1 cup
  • Pink Lemonade : 1 cup
  • Strawberries (washed and thinly sliced)  : 8
  • Peach (washed, seed removed and cut into 4 parts) : 1
PROCEDURE:
  • Add the chopped fruits to a large pitcher.
  • Add in all the juices, some ice cubes and give a good mix.
  • Serve chilled.
Note: If the kids are too young, you can give them a plastic knife to cut the fruits.

CHEERS!!!
